Children's Chorus of Sussex County performing to a packed house in Nijmegen

The tour was accented by one chorister whose family was from Nijmegen, a town in the Netherlands where the group performed! Prior to the tour, her relative who is an editor in Nijmegen, visited the chorus in New Jersey where he interviewed and wrote a story that was published in his local paper. To the delight of all, the Nijmegen concert went beautifully with a full house and made for a great story to share.

Another tour highlight was the chorus' performance on the 4th of July at the American Embassy where they met both the United States Ambassadors to Belgium and the European Union.
"It was an amazing 2 weeks - the best tour choir ever, singing in some of the most beautiful spaces in Europe. Thanks to Classical Movements for planning a spectacular tour, and thanks to Marianne for executing a life changing experience for us all!"
—Deborah Mello - Founder/Artistic Director, Children's Chorus of Sussex
